Edmonton police blew up an improvised bomb in a Mill Woods garage Tuesday night and have two people in custody in connection with the discovery.
Tactical teams arrived at the house Tuesday afternoon with a search warrant for drugs, said Insp. Gary Godziuk. They found a large stash of items that will be unveiled at a news conference later this week, he said.
“There’s going to be a huge show and tell,” Godziuk said.
During the search, police found “industrial explosives that were being used for a criminal purpose,” Godziuk said.
